Date published 1 March 2009

Broll Property Management's recent launch of a lifestyle centre in KwaZulu Natal has caused a stir amongst locals.

"Arbour Crossing Lifestyle Centre with its attractive tenant mix, modern design and innovative security concepts opened to long queues at the start of the festive season last year in Amanzimtoti," said centre manager Lyn Hansson.

The 41 000m2 centre, still only in its first building phase, promises to boost retail opportunities in the area. An additional 2 197m2 for phase 2  lower ground stores is also currently under way. The Galleria shopping centre of 83 000m2 which adjoins the site opens its doors in November 2009.

Tenants include Pick n Pay Hyper, Hi Fi Corporation, House & Home, Look & Listen, Wimpy, Nino's, Dial a Bed, Furniture City, Meltz Factory Shop, Rennies, Toys R Us, Sportsman's Warehouse, Geen & Richards and PEP. Innovative safety measures include smartly liveried private car guards and security staff.
